H.M.S. Vansittart was one of fifteen destroyers of the Modified "W" class. She was completed after the war.

Service

Vansittart was commissioned on 22 October, 1919.[8]

She was re-commissioned at Chatham on 8 October, 1923. By March 1925, she was part of the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[9]

Re-commissioned on 21 August, 1928 for service with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[10]
