H.M.S. Worcester was one of fifteen destroyers of the Modified "W" class. She was completed well after the end of the war.

Service

Worcester was not completed until September, 1922. She was re-commissioned on 16 November, 1922.[7]

She was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 8 October, 1923 for service with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[8]

Re-commissioned on 21 August, 1928 for service with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[9]

Reduced to Reserve at Malta on 31 May, 1931,[10] she was re-commissioned on 28 DEcember for service with the First Destroyer Flotilla in ther Mediterranean.[11]
