H.M.S. Swordsman was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

She later transferred to the R.A.N. as H.M.A.S. Swordsman.

Service

Commissioned at Sydney on 5 August, 1926.[6]

Paid off into "E" class Reserve 21 December, 1929.[7]
