H.M.S. Speedy was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

She recommissioned at Malta on 17 June, 1920.[7]

Speedy was lost after she collided with a tugboat in the Sea of Marmora in September, 1922. She was replaced in service by the destroyer Tourmaline under Lt. Cdr. Donal S. McGrath. Speedy's survivors would also join the new ship.[8]
