Cruiser Force F was a cruiser squadron of the Royal Navy under the orders of the Vice-Admiral Commanding the Channel Fleet upon the outbreak of war in 1914.

In Command

History

Cruiser Force F was under the orders of the Vice-Admiral Commanding the Channel Fleet, with the intention being to reinforce other areas if necessary. Upon the outbreak of war, Hogue, Sutlej and for a time Pelorus were allocated to the Cruiser Force. Hogue was sent to join Cruiser Force C, Sutlej to Cruiser Force I, and Pelorus to Cruiser Force E.[1] The squadron never operated as a distinct cruiser force.[2]
