Cruiser Force F
Cruiser Force F was under the orders of the Vice-Admiral Commanding the Channel Fleet, with the intention being to reinforce other areas if necessary. Upon the outbreak of war, Hogue, Sutlej and for a time Pelorus were allocated to the Cruiser Force. Hogue was sent to join Cruiser Force C, Sutlej to Cruiser Force I, and Pelorus to Cruiser Force E. The squadron never operated as a distinct cruiser force.
