H.M.S. Watchman was one of 22 destroyers of the "W" class.

Service

Watchman joined the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla in February, 1918[6] and and remained with that formation until it was disbanded in March, 1919, at which point she was allocated along with the Eleventh's other "V"s and "W"s to the newly-fashioned First Destroyer Flotilla.[7]

She re-commissioned at Devonport on 9 December, 1920.[8]
