Service
On 25 October, 1909 she was one of three "C" class boats to arrive at Sheerness Dockyard from Harwich to await a refit which would include a new pattern bridge. This work had just been completed on C 7, C 8 and C 9.[5]
Arrived in Sheerness with C 2 and C 5, also assigned to the Fifth Submarine Flotilla, on 28 May, 1914.[6]
