Rear-Admiral SIR Errol Manners, K.B.E., Royal Navy (29 June, 1883 – 23 October, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Manners was raised by a guardian, a Reverend C. B. Simpson.

He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1905.

Manners was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1913.

Manners was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1915.

Post-War

Manners was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1923.

Manners was appointed in command of the light cruiser Champion on 12 May, 1925.

Manners was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 19 July, 1935 and placed on the Retired List the following day in accordance with the provisions of Order in Council of 9 March, 1914..
