Career

H.M.S. Hindustan was commissioned on 22 August, 1905.[7]

As part of the Channel Fleet, Hindustan started a refit in Portsmouth in August 1908, after Battle Practice.[8]

Hindustan paid off on 14 May, 1918.[9]

Radio

In 1908, the ship was one of just nine equipped with the "C" Tune Gear, capable of transmitting (only?) on "S", "U" and "W" tunes. It was to receive a Service Mark II set in 1909.[10]
