H.M.S. Angler was one of the Royal Navy's eleven "D" class destroyers.

Service

Angler was part of the Chatham Flotilla in mid-1899 under command of John Michael de Robeck.[8]

Angler paid off at Malta on 30 December, 1904.[9]

In December 1905, she was in reserve at Malta.[10]

In mid-1913, she was in the Mediterranean,[11] arriving at Brindisi on 11 September, 1913 under the command of Lt. Cdr. Thomas Kennedy Maxwell.[12]

Captains

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

I do not understand why Hamilton and Codrington conflict on this and other appointments.
