Dauntless was completed with a gunnery director installation.[7]
Dauntless was re-commissioned at Devonport on 5 September, 1923 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[8]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 2 April, 1935.[9]
