Vice-Admiral (retired) Arthur Cecil Henry Paget, R.N. (16 March, 1839 – 10 June, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Served in the Naval Brigade at the capture of Canton.

Paget was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 6 November, 1860.

Paget was promoted to the rank of Commander on 13 February, 1873.

Paget was promoted to the rank of Captain on 14 October, 1881.

Appointed in command of H.M.S. Malabar on 12 August, 1885. Transferred to troop ship Euphrates on 5 May, 1886, expected to command her until 12 August, 1888. Lent to Iris on 4 July 1888 and paid her off 4 September 1888.

Retired at his own request on 12 October, 1893, Paget was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 20 October, 1896 and to the rank of Vice-Admiral (retired) on 24 January, 1902.
