Lieutenant-Commander John Robert Auber Codrington, R.N. (23 June, 1884 – 1 November, 1918) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Codrington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1908.[1]
Codrington was appointed in command of the submarine A 5 on 1 January, 1910.[2]
Codrington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1914.
Codrington died of pneumonia at Royal Naval Hospital, Plymouth following a bout with the flu, on 1 November, 1918.
