Captain (retired) Thomas Maclear Brounger, D.S.O., R.N. (29 November, 1886 – 2 February, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Brounger was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1907.

He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August, 1915.

He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1919.

Brounger was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain dated 27 May, 1932.

World War II

On 3 April 1939, Brounger reported himself "fit where no great nervous strain in [sic] involved."
