Vice-Admiral (retired) Richard William White ( – 4 December, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

White was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 April, 1872.

In June 1878, he earned an honorary certificate at the Royal Naval College.

White was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1884.

White was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1891.

White was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 20 February, 1904 and promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 1 April, 1904.

White was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral (retired) on 11 April, 1908.
