Oswald Wykeham Cornwallis

Captain THE HONOURABLE Oswald Wykeham Cornwallis, O.B.E., R.N. (16 March, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of (from 1927) the Right Honourable Lord Cornwallis.
Cornwallis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1915.[1]
Cornwallis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1923.[2]
Cornwallis was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1928.[3]
Cornwallis commanded Hawkins after a period in command of the Resolution as she idled at 1/5 complement.
Cornwallis was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Captain on 16 March, 1944.[4]
