Commander (retired) Maurice Lloyd Vernon, O.B.E., D.S.C., R.N. (14 August, 1895 – ) served in the Royal Navy. Some Navy Lists spell his name as "Morris", but sporadically.
Life & Career
Vernon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1917.[1]
He was placed on the Retired List on 16 January, 1921. [2]
Vernon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1925.[3]
Vernon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 14 August, 1935.[4]
