Loftus William Jones ( – 1916) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Jones was appointed in command of the destroyer Ghurka on 15 December, 1910.[1]
Jones was appointed in command of the destroyer Shark on 9 October, 1912.[2]
On 7 March, 1914, Jones was appointed in command of the destroyer Linnet.[3]
At some point, he resumed command of Shark, and was killed aboard her in night action with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.
