Lieutenant-Commander Llewellyn Edmund Traherne, R.N. (14 September, 1863 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Paris, the son of Colonel Traherne.
Traherne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in April, 1886.
Traherne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in April, 1894. Afflicted with domestic issues, he resigned the service at his own request on 1 September 1896.
Traherne was placed on the Emergency List on 16 August, 1914 and appointed to H.M.S. Excellent. On 12 October, he was made a temporary acting Commander, but he died two days later at Haslaar Hospital of pleuro pneumonia.
