Captain R.N.R. (retired) John Willits, R.D. (2 January, 1878 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Willits was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 7 August, 1909.[1]

Willits was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 7 August, 1917.[2]

Lieutenant-Commander, R.N.R. Willits was appointed in command of the destroyer Nith on 11 October, 1918.[3]

Demobilised on 4 November, 1919.[4]

Willits was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1922.[5]

Willits was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 2 January, 1928.[6]
