Captain John Gerald Yerburgh Loveband, (27 February, 1895 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

The son of Reverend Walker[?] Loveband, Clerk in Holy Orders.

Loveband was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1915, adjusted from 15 February, 1916.^[1]

Loveband was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1923.^[2]

Loveband was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1929.^[3]

Loveband was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1937.^[4]
