H.M. T.B. 68 (1885)
Builder: Yarrow[1]
Ordered: 30/31 March, 1885[2]
Launched: 1885[3]
Completed: August 1886[4]
Sold: 30 June, 1920[5]
H.M. T.B. 68 was one of 53 first-class torpedo boats of the 125 Footer class.

Service

She was stationed in Chatham in 1895 as one of eight large torpedo boats of at least 125 feet length and two smaller ones.[6]

Around 1906-1907, with the issuance of torpedo boat numbers to the first of the Cricket class torpedo boats, the existing Torpedo Boats numbered 25 to 79 had a "0" prepended to their number. This vessel, therefore, became T.B. 068.[7]

Sold to Ward, Hayle for scrapping on 30 June, 1920 alongside her sister T.B. 66.[8]
