H.M. T.B. 43 (1885)
Builder: John I. Thornycroft & Company[1]
Ordered: 30 April/1 May, 1885[2]
Launched: 1885[3]
Completed: June 1886[4]
Sold: 18 December, 1919[5]
H.M. T.B. 43 was one of 53 first-class torpedo boats of the 125 Footer class.

Service

Collided with T.B. 66 on 9 May, 1887 during night exercises near Portland.[6]

In 1895, she was one of ten first-class torpedo boats stationed in Malta.[7]

In December 1905, she was in reserve at Gibraltar.[8]

Around 1906-1907, with the issuance of torpedo boat numbers to the first of the Cricket class torpedo boats, the existing Torpedo Boats numbered 25 to 79 had a "0" prepended to their number. This vessel, therefore, became T.B. 043.[9]

Sold at Malta on 18 December, 1919.[10]
