The conflict between Waistell and Yeats-Brown is acknowledged.  The Times indicates UK-TB82 may be involved in a change of orders or other confusion.
+
The Times reported that Arthur Kipling Waistell commanded this boat and Alan Montagu Yeats-Brown commanded UK-TB82 in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1903,Appointments for the Naval Manoeuvres but their service records state it the other way around, and Yeats-Brown has an inspection report for T.B. 109.  I've decided the service records are more reliable in this instance.

H.M. T.B. 109 (1902)
Builder: John I. Thornycroft & Company[1]
Launched: 1902[2]
Broken up: 1919-20[3]
H.M. T.B. 109 was one of thirteen first-class torpedo boats of the 160 Footer class.

Service

T.B. 109 passed her official four-hour steam trial at the Maplins on 5 February, 1903, averaging 25.213 knots.[4]

Captains

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

The Times reported that Arthur Kipling Waistell commanded this boat and Alan Montagu Yeats-Brown commanded T.B. 82 in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1903,[35] but their service records state it the other way around, and Yeats-Brown has an inspection report for T.B. 109. I've decided the service records are more reliable in this instance.
