H.M.S. Proteus (1929)
Builder: Vickers, Barrow
Launched: 23 Jul, 1929
Commissioned: 28 Apr, 1930[1]
Scrapped: Mar, 1946
H.M.S. Proteus was one of six Parthian Class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Barrow on 28 April, 1930.[2] By mid-1937 she was with the Fourth Submarine Flotilla on the China Station.[3]
