H.M.S. A 7 was one of thirteen "A" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

In April, 1911, A 7 was one of the four "A" class boats comprising the Devonport Submarine Flotilla.[4] She remained with that formation when it was re-designated as the First Submarine Flotilla around August, 1912. She was lost in a training accident in January, 1914.
