George Milner Crockett

Commander (retired) George Milner Crockett, (5 December, 1893 – 10 November, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of S. R. Crockett, an author of novels.
Crockett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1916.
Crockett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1924.
A Court of Enquiry was convened on 29 January, 1936 at Hong Kong to investigate irregularities in the accounts of Tamar. Crockett was told the Admiralty was displeased with his failure to follow regulations.
Crockett was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 22 January, 1937.
