Admiral SIR Frederick Robertson Parham, K.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O. (9 January, 1901 – 20 Maarch, 1991) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

After passing out of the Training Establishment, Parham served in the battleship Malaya from 9 January 1917 through 2 January, 1919.[1]

Parham was awarded the Goodenough Medal for being the Sub-Lieutenant who achieved the highest gunnery examination for the year and who also achieved a first-class certificate in seamanship.

Parham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1920.[2]

Parham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1928.[3]

Parham was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1934.[4]

World War II

Parham was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1939.[5]

Parham was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 July, 1949.[6]

Parham was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 15 May, 1952.[7]

Parham was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 29 February, 1956.[8]
