Lieutenant-Commander Frank Goodrich Terry (3 December, 1882 – 1 June, 1916) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Terry was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1905.

Terry was appointed in command of the destroyer Charger on 5 September, 1909.[1]

He was appointed in command of the destroyer Electra on 18 April, 1912.[2]

Terry was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1913.

On 11 December, 1913, Terry was appointed in command of the destroyer Fortune.[3] He was her captain at the Battle of Jutland, where she operated as part of the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla. Terry and all but one of her crew was lost with her when Fortune sank in night action.[4]
