Lieutenant-Commander David William Shafto Douglas, (1 July, 1883 – 31 May, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Douglas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1904.

Douglas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1912.

Douglas was appointed to the armoured cruiser H.M.S. Black Prince on 9 August, 1915 as Gunnery Officer and died when she was lost at the Battle of Jutland.
