Captain (retired) Charles William Dickinson, R.N. (4 June, 1848 – 15 December, 1936) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Rugby.

He lost six months' seniority following a Court Martial on 9 June, 1871. He was also dismissed his ship, whose name is illegible, but was affiliated with Donegal.

Dickinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1872.

Dickinson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1886.

Dickinson was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Captain on 31 March, 1898.
