Alexander Attwood Gordon (22 March, 1870 – 14 April, 1904) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Port Elizabeth, Cape of Good Hope.

Gordon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1892.

Gordon retired unfit due to neurasthenia on 30 August, 1902.

Gordon died of cirrhosis of the liver due to excessive use of spirits in 1904, though he had never been reported for having an issue with drink.
