Commander John Philip Holroyde Oakley, D.S.C.* ( – ) served in the Royal Navy as a submariner during World War II.

Life & Career

Oakley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 January, 1940.[1]

Oakley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 January, 1948.[2]

Oakley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1951.[3]

Oakley retired on 13 April, 1959.[4]
