H.M. T.B. 86 was one of six first-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 82 class.
Service
In 1895, she was one of thirteen torpedo boats of 125 feet or greater length and four smaller ones stationed in Devonport.[5]
In 1904, she collided with T.B. 82 while under the command of Brien Michael Money.[6]
Sold initially to Stanlee of Dover, but then resold to J. E. Thomas on 22 October, 1921 alongside her sisters T.B. 82 and T.B. 85.[7]
