Admiral SIR Randolph Frank Ollive Foote, K.C.B., C.M.G., Royal Navy, Retired (14 May, 1853 – 28 November, 1931) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Foote was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1884.[1]

Foote was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1891.[2]

Flag Rank

Foote was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 15 March, 1904, vice Dyke Acland.[3]

He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 22 March, 1908, vice Dyke Acland.[4] In accordance with the provisions of the Orders in Council of 16 July, 1895 and 8 December, 1903, he was placed on the Retired List on 15 March, 1911.[5] He was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 18 September.[6]

On 1 January, 1914, he was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).[7]
