Service
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 4 January, 1924 for service with the Second Battle Squadron, Atlantic Fleet.[8]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 30 December, 1927.[9]
Completed to full complement at Devonport on 3 February, 1931 for service as flagship of the First Battle Squadron in the Mediterranean.[10]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 15 September, 1936 for service with the Second Battle Squadron, Home Fleet.[11]
Boats
In July 1914, the ship was appropriated 42-foot motor launch No. 254, though the boat was not yet delivered from the contractor.[12]
Alterations
In March, 1915, Open Director Sights were ordered for all[Inference] her turrets. They were likely in place by her completion.[13]
Her secondary battery directors were installed in April, 1917.[14]
