Commander (retired) Robert Douglas King-Harman, (18 August, 1891 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
King-Harman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1914. Early in the war, he served in Albemarle. On 4 February 1915 he was assigned to the destroyer Midge as first officer. He saw action in her at the Battle of Jutland as part of the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.[1]
King-Harman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1922.[2]
King-Harman was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 2 September 1929 and then promoted to the rank of Commander on 18 August, 1931.[3]
World War II
He reverted to the Retired List on 6 December, 1946.[4]
