Admiral William Henry Edye, Royal Navy, Retired (30 August, 1830 – 17 February, 1910) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

He is not the same man as William Henry Eyre, a Royal Navy captain who was born in 1860.

Life & Career

Edye was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 14 May, 1888.[1]

In accordance with the Order in Council of 4 December, 1878, Edye was placed on the Retired List on 30 August, 1890.[2] He was promoted to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 13 May, 1893.[3]
