Rear-Admiral John Coombe Hodgson, D.S.O., R.N. (17 July, 1881 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

As a Lieutenant, he was in command of the Ferret in 1907.[1]

Hodgson was appointed in command of the destroyer Jackal on 18 January, 1912.[2]

Great War

Hodgson commanded the destroyer Moorsom at the Battle of Jutland.[3]

He was appointed in command of the flotilla leader Bruce on 11 April, 1918.[4]

Post-war

In November, 1929, Hodgson was appointed in command of the battleship Marlborough.
