Lieutenant Donald Roy Macdonald, R.N. (27 September, 1888 – 15 October, 1914) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Macdonald was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 30 November, 1907.
Captain Eyres of H.M.S. Irresistible opined that Macdonald "takes little pains."
Macdonald was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1910.
Macdonald was appointed to the first class protected cruiser Hawke as soon as war broke out and died when she was torpedoed and lost on 15 October, 1914.
