H.M.S. Foam (1871)

H.M.S. Foam was one of nine Ariel Class composite gunboats completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Built at a cost of £13,916.[3]

By November, 1886, she was identified as one of forty-one vessels of various types the Navy had decided to dispose of due to their lack of practical value in the event of war.[4]
