H.M.S. Stuart was one of eight flotilla leaders of the Scott class.

Service

Stuart was re-commissioned at Malta on 9 December, 1920.[6]

She was re-commissioned at Constantinople on 25 July, 1923. By March 1925 she was the flotilla leader of Second Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[7]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 27 May, 1927 to take up service with the Second Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[8]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 3 December, 1929 to continue serving as flotilla leaders for the Second Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[9]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 12 May, 1932 for work with the Second Submarine Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[10]

The ship was commissioned in the Royal Australian Navy as H.M.A.S. Stuart on 11 October, 1933.

She re-commissioned on 1 January, 1934.[11]
