Admiral SIR James Edward Clifford Goodrich, Royal Navy (23 July, 1851 – 21 December, 1925) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Goodrich was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1888.[1] On 19 November, 1890, he was appointed Commander of the Victor Emanuel, receiving ship at Hong Kong.[2]

Goodrich was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1895.[3]

Goodrich was appointed to H.M.S. Resolution on 17 November, 1901.[4]

On 15 October, 1903, Goodrich was appointed to the first-class protected cruiser Grafton as Commodore, Second Class, in command of the Pacific Station.[5]

Goodrich was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 30 April, 1910, vice Poë.[6]

He was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 3 June, 1913, vice Neville,[7] and was placed on the Retired List on 4 June.[8]
