Admiral SIR Vernon Harry Stuart Haggard, K.C.B., C.M.G. was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Haggard was a Lieutenant 1904.[1]

He was appointed in command of Boadicea. He was appointed in command of Blenheim. He was appointed in command of Good Hope. He was appointed in command of Vulcan.

Great War

He was appointed in command of the battleship Hibernia on 23 July, 1915.[2]

He was appointed in command of Highflyer.

Post War

He was appointed in command of Ajax in 1920.

In 1922, he was serving as Director of Training and Staff Duties, and involved in the decision whether and how to release the controversial "Naval Staff Appreciation of Jutland".
