Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Thomas Connolly (16 August, 1874 – 29 January, 1954) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Promoted to Gunner on 4 January, 1902.[1]

Connolly was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 101 on 22 January, 1913.[2]

He was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 89 in May, 1914.[3]

Connolly was appointed to the monitor M.26 on 25 August, 1915. He remained with her until 12 January, 1917, when he was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 054.[4]

Promoted to Chief Gunner on 13 September, 1918.

Post-War

Connolly was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.

Connolly was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit 15 may, 1923.

Connolly was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 12 August, 1930.
