Richard Martin Welby ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Welby was appointed in command of the destroyer Rifleman on 23 January, 1918.[1]

He was appointed in command of the destroyer Vega on 27 May, 1920.[2]

In October, 1929, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Champion.[3]
