Commander (retired) Ralph Daniel Blyth Haddon, D.S.C. (13 March, 1887 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Greenwich, Haddon listed his mother as his guardian when he joined the Navy.[1]
Haddon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1908.[2]
Haddon was serving in the armoured cruiser Cumberland the war broke out. He was transferred to the new battleship Revenge on 16 November 1915. Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1916, he remained in Revenge through the end of the war.[3]
Haddon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1921.[4]
World War II
Convoy-related work based from Belfast and Liverpool, the latter vice Peyton Jones.[5]
