Rear-Admiral Robert L. Groome was appointed in command on 3 January, 1905.[1] Rear-Admiral Charles H. Cross was appointed on 15 November, 1905.[2] Rear-Admiral Spencer H. M. Login succeeded Rear-Admiral Cross on 15 November, 1906.[3]
