Captain Philip Streatfeild, M.V.O., (26 May, 1872 – 1960) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Streatfeild was promoted to the rank of Captain on 14 July, 1908.
He assumed command of the destroyer Crescent in January 1910.[1]
In December 1911, Streatfeild relieved Michael Henry Hodges in command of the second class protected cruiser Doris.[2]
He next served as captain of the battleship H.M.S. Triumph for one year, from August 1913,[3] and was appointed command of the Hannibal on 8 September, 1915.[4]
He retired as a captain on 26 January, 1920.
